A polished chrysoprase is set in a 14ct gold band that decoratively frames the rectangular-cut stone.

History

  • Place Of Origin: Netherlands.
  • Date Period: Circa 1940.

The stones

  • Chrysoprase size: Length 18.2mm; Width 10.5mm; Height of setting 2.5mm
  • Treatment: Unheated/untreated (assessed by our GIA qualified gemologist).

Band

  • Metal Composition: 14ct yellow and white gold.
  • Hallmarks: marked '585' in an oak leaf motif ; hallmark of the Netherlands from 1953 onwards. '14K' and another indistinguishable mark: possibly 'A22'.
  • Band Size: UK N / US 6.5.
  • Resizing: Single complimentary re-size available. This ring can easily be re-sized up or down to any size.

The ring overall

  • Front Head Dimensions: Length 21.2mm; Width 13.8mm; Height of setting 5.8mm
  • General Wear: Excellent; wear commensurate with age.
  • Condition: Chrysoprase safely set with the mount with gold fully covering the entire stone. There are no marks that we feel necessary to mention, no chips. The ring is in exceptional overall condition. No chips, cracks or heavy scratches to the gold.

How long does UK shipping take?

UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to arrive.

Do you ship items internationally?

Yes, we provide free international express shipping on all online orders via FedEx or DHL, the working day after the payment has cleared. Local taxes and duties may apply. However, we currently do not ship to the following territories: Africa, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Israel, Lithuania, North Korea, Pakistan, Republic of Georgia, Russia, Turkey, etc.

Resizing

How does resizing work?

Most of our rings can be resized unless stated otherwise in the item description. Simply add your required size in the notes section at checkout, and our team will take care of the rest!

Please allow an additional 5 to 10 working days to the delivery time. If you require your order for a particular date, please get in touch as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate.

You can purchase the ring and then return if for resizing if needed - if you buy an engagement ring, for instance, but it is not quite the right size for your partner. There is no additional charge for this but the buyer is responsible for the return postage and insurance.

Does the ring come with a certificate?

Most of our rings come with gemmological certificates. If not, we can provide one for an additional charge. All of the rings are checked and examined by a professional gemologist before they reach the website.
