Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. Sri Lanka is known as ‘the isle of gems’ for its huge variety of mineral deposits, but there’s no stone it’s more famous for than blue sapphires. With their soft, slightly violet ‘cornflower’ blues, Sri Lankan sapphires (often still referred to as ‘Ceylon’ stones) have been traded and prized around the world for thousands of years, finding their way into everything from Roman cameos to medieval reliquaries. In the middle ages, the blue of sapphires gave them a strong association with heaven and the Virgin Mary, and so were a popular choice for ecclesiastical jewels. This heavenly blue unheated Sri Lankan sapphire weighs just short of five carats, and is encircled by a border of early 20th century single-cut diamonds in a millegrain border. A truly classic cluster ring - Princess Diana would approve.

Most of our rings can be resized unless stated otherwise in the item description. Simply add your required size in the notes section at checkout, and our team will take care of the rest!
Please allow an additional 5 to 10 working days to the delivery time. If you require your order for a particular date, please get in touch as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate.
You can purchase the ring and then return if for resizing if needed - if you buy an engagement ring, for instance, but it is not quite the right size for your partner. There is no additional charge for this but the buyer is responsible for the return postage and insurance.
