A vibrant 0.40 carat Burmese ruby, nestled at the centre of a very unique arrangement of cushion-cut diamonds. Surrounded by six diamonds with a total weight of 0.66 carats, the distinctive arrangement of this ring distinguishes it from others of its kind.The scrolled shoulders and gallery are very indicative of Victorian jewellery design and impart an enchanting antiquated visual. This is a very beautiful ring! What an incredible choice for an engagement ring. Tested 18ct yellow gold, circa 1868.

- General Wear: Very good; wear commensurate with age.
- Condition: All stones secure, safely set with claws fully covering each stone, no damage to the setting or diamonds. Ruby has some rubbing which can be polished but is not distracting to the eye. Minor scratches due to age. There are no other marks or scratches that we feel necessary to mention. All of our jewellery is professionally cleaned prior to us listing it.
